Way back in 1977 we started our business by repairing used tanks in the oil patch. This experience has given us a unique perspective and understanding of good tank design and what simply doesn’t work. Over the years, we’ve learned from and frankly profited greatly from our competiters' inferior products. We have seen everything from the “thinning down” of their steel to short cuts in speeding up production thus sacrificing quality to you the customer. Here at Rhodes Manufacturing, we feel our customers deserve better.
For the past 31 years we have taken great pride in producing the “Best built & best backed” tanks in the industry. Our tanks are fabricated from A-36 carbon steel. Flanged tank heads are ¼” -.250 steel. All tank heads are double welded inside and out. Rolled tank sides are 3/16” -.187 steel. All vertical and horizontal tank seams are lap welded for maximum strength, never butt welded. All our tanks carry with them a “complete replacement guarantee” for the first five years after purchase. When you purchase a Rhodes tank, you are buying quality, we guarantee it!
